You can find on the web that TANGO transformer is now being soley sold by WAVAC who made the fisrt pair of wonderful and very expensive 833A base power amplifiers two decades ago. The makers for these transformers is not known but the price has increased two folds. Tango transformers are the best items that money can buy, but at such a price?

Tango Transformer is a small company in Japan that made high quality audio transformers. They produced various kinds of transformers in several grades in order to suit the requirements of their customers. The models were however greatly reduced due to the shrink in the DIY market. The old owner retired and the remaining workers had continued the business for several years bearing the name of “ISO”. The company sadly close down two years ago.
